Dr. Joseph Cione attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Sports Medicine in 1991. Following Rutgers University, he attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1995. He then completed a three year surgical residency at the Franciscan Health Systems of New Jersey in Hoboken, New Jersey, which is one of the foremost programs in the United States. His residency training specialized in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Cione is trained in the Dellon Techniques for Nerve Decompression Surgery which treats the symptoms of Diabetic Neuropathy.  He was trained by Dr. Lee A. Dellon an accomplished Plastic Surgeon and pioneer of the procedure.

  There are approximately 400 surgeons worldwide that are trained to perform this surgical procedure.Dr. Cione has received advanced  training in Microsurgical Techniques from Columbia University. 

Dr. Cione is a contributing writer to Podiatry Today and has been published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Cione has also been named a Top Doctor in New Jersey for 2012 and  2014.

 He is on staff at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey and at HackensackUMC Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey and Essex Surgical Arts Surgery Center, LLC in Belleville, New Jersey.

Dr. Julian Sansone attended St. John's University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 1996. Following St. John's University, he attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2002. He then completed a three year surgical residency at the New York and Brooklyn Campuses of the Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare, as well as the St. Albans Primary & Extended Care Center (domiciliary). His residency training specialized in podiatric orthopedics, primary podiatric medicine, and foot surgery. After completion of his residency training, Dr. Sansone went into a fellowship in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.

Dr. Jessica A. Addeo graduated from Widener University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  She then attended Barry University in Florida where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric medicine Degree. Dr. Addeo completed a three year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Crozer Keystone Health System in Pennsylvania.  She has had extensive training in sports injuries, trauma, and diabetic limb salvage.

  • Board Certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
